The Lebanese Stars Ignore the Court Order Preventing Fairouz from Singing
Why haven’t any of the Lebanese stars such as Haifa Wehbi, Elissa, Miriam Fares, NancyAjram, Najwa Karam, Rola Saad, Ragheb Alama,Wael Kfoury, Walid Tawfiq, and others reacted to the court order that came out lately preventing the great mega superstar Fairouz from singing?!?!?!
This order that infuriated the Lebanese people, young and old, to the extent that some of the Lebanese associations for public benefits to organize to a peaceful sit-in in Beirut on July 26th to support the great legendary diva while playing Fairouz’s songs and banners denouncing the court order.
And while the Egyptian superstar Elham Chahine declared she’s ready to fly to Beirut to participate in the sit-in, none of the Lebanese stars have shown any reaction towards this matter. So will we witness any change in their attitude in the upcoming days?!
On the other hand, some of the Lebanese media presenters such as Nedal Al-Ahmadeya have expressed their disbelief of the Lebanese government’s behavior, standing still and not doing anything to prevent this decision.
As for the Syrian radio, it had launched a campaign supporting Fairouz titled “Fairouz fl Qalb” (Fairouz in the Heart) broadcasting her songs all through the day and holding interviews with Syrian stars and media presenters denouncing this court order.
